Bottle at Dadsgiving! Pours a deep brown to black with a thin beige head. Soft warm chocolate, cocoa. Warm and spicy, smooth malt, toast and roast. Very smooth, nice bright cocoa notes coming through. Very lively for a big stout. Smooth vanilla and chocolate into the finish.

Bottle at FoCo Stout Tasting 2013, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man! Heavy oxidation, caramel, bready, cardboard, dark fruits, light cocoa, and doughy aroma. Taste is so tangy, wet cardboard, dark fruity, cocoa, coffee, and bread. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Way past its prime.

Bottle @ Armin’s palace, courtesy of a chill Swede. Thanks! Pours a fairly clear dark brown head with a light brown head. Light anise, dark grape, fig, dark chocolate, plum, a bit spicy aroma. Slightly tangy plum, dark grape, fig, woody, dark chocolate, a bit twangy flavor. Not my favorite but not bad.
