Pours dark brown almost black with a nice tan head that leaves a nice lace. Nice soft choclate nose with some coffee in it. Round dark sweet flavour well worth trying. Trade or buy to get it or travel to Monks and try it.

Deep black colour, dissipating beige head. Aroma of caramel, malts, cattle feed, lots of chocolate. Sweet flavour, chocolate milk, mocha and malts. Finish chocolate and coffee.
Interesting.
(From 33cL bottle shared @ joes. From trade with Lunnsen, thanks!!)

Bottle shared by Martinus, thnx! Opaque pitch black color, virtually no head, just a slight off-white to beige lacing. Smell malts, lightly roasty, something odd. Taste dark and roasted malts, a touch of alcohol and wood. A bit low bodied, a bit low on carbonation, while the finish is quite decent with some warming alcohol. Still, the beer is a bit weird imo.

Bottle thx to martinus @ joes. Pitch black colour, no real head. Smells cattle feed, roasty, sweetish, raisin, chocolate. Tastes dark chocolate, roasty and some coffee. No carbo, not silky enough, medium body.

Thanks to my Secret Santa Blomster for this one! Deep black with a tall fading head of creamy tan. Interesting aroma that combines licorice, cocoa and tobacco. Sweet up front with some bitter roast malts in the finish. Quite different from most Imperial Stouts.

Russian originalet är nog bättre möjligen. Underbar är den. Inte så stor soft.

Black with low tan head. Aroma dominated by the BCS and the whisky, lots of peats, barrel, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, melasses. A bit of an onslaught on the nose, overall pleasant but maybe a bit boozy / peaty. Taste is VERY inspired by the Mackmyra. Yes, you can taste both the BCS and the Victoria in there, yes, there’s a definite vanilla and melasses sweetness, but really, those 0.5% really come through strongly. It’s like a high end version of the old "submarine" (is that a Swedish phenomenon? Might just be...) - a shot of very nice single malt dropped into a very nice imperial stout. The end result, in any case, is interesting and tasty, but not great - as far as imperial stouts go, still a darn good beer.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2013 Danke an Scopey. Dunkel schokoladiger Antrunk mit erkennbarem Alkohol. Witzig schokoladig, relativ starke Karbonisierung. Süffig durch die starke aber passende Süße. Haselnuss, mild hopfig. 12/12/11/11/8/11

Ar: cocoa, alcohol, prunes? Bourbon and whisky, rather sweet, jam, honey, vanilla, roastiness and coffe are there but light for the style, light notes of feces, weird but does not totally spoil the aroma. Ap: black/murky brown colour, medium light Brown head, lacing. F: rather salty, very much so, licorice, soy sauce, bourbon, coffee, chocolate, roastiness, alcohol, short but warming finish, low bitterness. P: medium body, low carbonation. T: mediocre.
