Bottle 18 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with an orangey hue and a beige head. Interesting spicy, berry-like aroma. Rich body, sweet oxidized woody character with loads of cherry notes. A little cloying with nothing much to balance the sweetness. 290115

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2014) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, cherries and a slight sourness. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, brown sugar, oak wood, a touch of sour cherries and a slight bitterness in a finish with a touch of alcohol. Full body, quite sweet. A bit weird, but with an interesting cherry twist. Fairly drinkable for its strength. Quite nice.

180 ml bottle. BBE 2029. From Sweden. Thanks Sari!
Dark reddish brown - almost black - colour with a small creamy light tan head. Chocolate, cherries, roasted malt, fruit liqueur and dark fruits in the aroma. Quite nice. The flavour is dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla sweetness, cherries, dark fruits and some dryness. Very tasty. I can’t feel the 10% at all. Feels like 5-6% brew. Strange. Warming a little bit...
