Aroma of dark fruits and dark chocolate. The taste is really fruity/cherry. Finishes with almost like sour coffee. If it would not been for the week aroma and the little sour finish the rating would have been higher.

10.05.2014, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich, dark malts, licorice, dark sugar, sour fruits, coffee, grass, caramel, cough syrup. Taste is kind of sour-ish, old sour coffee, dark malts, sour fruits, minerals, grass, licorice, dark sugar, ashtray, red berries, cough syrup. Medium bitterness, kind of a metallic mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle. It pours a clear-looking dark reddish brown body and a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma has a nice berry touch, with lots of coffee, chocolate and dried fruits. Pretty vinous and with a tad too much alcohol. It’s full-bodied and warming with a soft carbonation level. Coffee, chocolate, berries and some raisins in the flavor, as well as booze notes and a little bitterness. Lasting finish. Sure a pleasant one, quite complex too. 140418
