3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Draught at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, chocolate, toffee, pine needles, grapefruit and fresh hops. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, toffee, chocolate, dark rye bread, grapefruit, pine needles and a generous, fresh bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Style-wise somewhere between brown ale, black IPA and Belgian strong ale. A bit confusing, but very tasty and nice.

24th May 2013
On tap at Wallingatan. Clear deep amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Slight passion fruit on the nose. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Light and semi sweet creamy malt. Passion fruits folllows from the nose (Mosaic?). Grass and skunk join the hop party and a little sweet pine arrives fashionably late! Finishes smooth. Super drinkable!
