Roligt experiment.

Draught @ Monks Porter House, Stockholm. Pours hazy amber with airy but stable white head. Sourish, vinous aroma, with notes of yeast and hops. Vinous flavour with estery touches and hints of citrus and hops, ending on an acetic note. Rough and vinous aftertaste. An OK BA but it tastes more like a Sour Ale, actually.

Monks Cafe Porterhouse. Almost clear amber beer, good white head. Palate is smooth and a little soft. Mild fine carbonation. Trace of bubblegum ester in the thin creamy malt. Mellow orange zest. Not bad.

Draught at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, part of the flight "halvmeter öl", on November 16, 2012.
Clear copper color, fluffy off-white head. Sweet, zest, herbal, bitter, spicy, roasted, smoke, rubber, phenolic taste. Smoke and rubber aftertaste. Dry, bitter, alcohol finish. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness that is fairly dry. There’s a banana ester present real short just when swallowing. Sweet, alcohol, malty, a bit fruity scent.

Draft @ Monk’s Porter House Stockholm. Hazy darker amber coloured with some light to medium carbonation and a small white head. Fruity to floral almost yeasty hinted aroma with some herby hints. Full palate. Finish is yeasty fruity and slightly orange hinted. Strange but ok
