[4/25/15] Draught at Monks Café Wallingatan in Stockholm. As Monks Cafe Phat Jakk. Black with a nice brown head. Mildly acidic aroma of roast, licorice, coffee and some dark fruits. Roasty flavor, quite dry, with an acidic touch, an alcoholic touch, and a bitter finish. Quite full-bodied.

Smells like a barn and a little sweet. The taste is light chocolate, soy and coffee. Bitterness is not so good but fills the mouth a week-long while. Not so overly good beer. I would avoid it. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

#2500. Draught @ Monks Porter House, Stockholm, as Phakk Yakk, 8.8%. Pours cloudy very dark brown, with airy tan head. Intense, dark aroma of chocolate, malt and coffee, with subtle fruity notes. Sweetish flavour of chocolate, dried fruit and malt, enhanced by roasty and bitter notes of coffee, and well-discernible touches of oak barrels. Sweetish and smooth aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence, enhanced by hints of whisky. Good.
