3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled@SBWF2009. Hazy orangeish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is wooden, yeasty, mildly earthy and grassy as well as quite strong strawberries and raspberries. Mild junipery notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same. At first a kicking straw- and raspberry flavour, which then turns into earthy and grassy with some herbal notes. Hides the alcohol very well.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 25 Sep 2009) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus and spices (coriander, juniper berries). Fruity, malty, slightly tart taste with notes of citrus, apricots and a spicy finish with coriander and a touch of green apples. More than medium body, balanced sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden. Impressive balance for such a strong saison. Very nice beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the brewpub, Wallingatan location
Batch 56, brewed 2009-04-07
Hazy blond color; creamy head. Strong spicy aroma, also fruity and with some wheat. Good body strength, sweetish malt and wheat flavor, with strong bitterness, the spices are well combined with the alcohol warmth, there is some orange too.
It’s like a mix of Saison and Weizen, but sweetish and full bodied. Unusual but quite good.
