Draught@Monks Café, Sveavägen. Deep amber colour, mall off-white head that leaves some nice lace. Aroma is fruity, caramel malty, a bit grassy as well as quite citrusy. Flavour is being quite much the same along with some slight spicyness added.

Draught at Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Hazy brownish amber,minimalhead. Sweaty morbier cheese aroma. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. A bit fruity with peculiar cheesy flavour, chevre and morbier. Alcohol remians well hidden, and the bitterness is kept under control.

(Draugh at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 1 June 2010) Dark amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, pine needles and caramel. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, orange peel, pine needles and a solid malt foundation with lots of caramel. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Alcohol well hidden. Excellent beer with hops and malt in perfect harmony.

It poured a hazy golden-orange liquid with a small white fluffy head. Smell: Caramell, malt, hint of hops both grassy and fruity. Fairly mild smell. Taste: Caramell, malt, grassy hops. Fairly well hidden alcohol. Mouthfeel: Fairly smooth with a thick body. Comment: An easy to drink beer despite the high ABV, refreshing and still enough flavour to make it interesting. I’m curious about the use of scottish yeast.

Draught at Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pours out in a shady bronze appearance topped with a small creamy white head. Resin, nectarines, red oranges, raspberries and citric hops in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of resin, wet grass, soap and red oranges. Medium-bitter and semi-dry finish grass, raspberries, cherry-skins, mild pepper and burnt almonds.
