(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2014) Amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, caramel, orange peel and tropical fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, treacle toffee and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well balanced and tasty, possibly lacking something extra. Quite nice.

Sample at SBWF 2014. Hazy orange/amber with a white head. Aroma and taste of fruit, mango, some pineapple and citrus. Also some hay. The finish was medium bitter.

Tap at SBWF2014. Hazy orange color, good off-white head. Nice tropical fruity, kiwi aroma. Medium-bodied. Evident Nelson passion fruit, kiwi flavors. Sweet fruity, not very bitter.

Draught@SBWF2014. Golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is bready, grainy, some NS notes as well as some soapy and perfumed notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild peachy, tropical fruity, nectary, mildly bitter along with some bready notes.

Tap @ monk’s american bar, Stockholm. Hazy amber colour, thick white head. Grainy, sweet fruity aroma. Some apricots as well. Flavor has citrus, kiwi, sweetness. Bitter, juicy fruity finish.

Draught @ Monks Porter House, Stockholm, 6.5%. Pours hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with touches of citrus. Bitter, hoppynflavour, with pronounced estery notes and touches of citrus. Bitter and slughtly rough aftertaste. Nice but not mind-blowing.

Draught at Monks Cafe Wallingatan. Hazy orange coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hops and citrus peel with notes of pine needles. Fruity flavour of pine needles, grass and grapefruits. Dry hoppy finish.

Draught at Monks Cafe Walllingatan, Stockholm. Golden, hazy, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light sourness, some tropical fruitiness and some citrushoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light sourness and light caramel, some tropical fruitiness and some citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish with light caramel and light sourness, some piney hoppyness. OK hoppyness - could be drier.

Draught @ Monks Café Wallingatan. Pours hazy orange with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is sweet qnd fruity with crackers, moist grass, green grapes, moist wood, gooseberries, unripe currants and dill. Taste is sweet, fruity, herbal and hoppy with crackers, green grapes, moist grass, overripe gooseberries, dill, parsley, lemon balm and hints of bread. Mouthfeel is round, slightly smooth and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, green grapes, dill, moist grass and gooseberries. Quite nice with a heavy Nelson focus.
