Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Blonde, cloudy. Watery, but also a soft wheaty grassy flavor. No specific aroma. Easy going thirst quencher. My wife loved the label.

Grima (2108) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 28, 2011
The beer in the glass is pale yellow, slightly clouded, and millions of small to large yeast particles floating in the beer. Something I have never seen before, even after nearly 1300 ratings! It smells yeasty hoppy, very reserved. Starts hoppy, musty, slightly sour yeasty. From the middle part on, the beer gets very watery and boring. The flavors are much too weak, only a soft-sour yeasty and hoppy note comes through.

Light yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized white head. Nice yeasty and wheaty aroma with some grainy note. Thin bodied, watery palate. Flavor is dominated by wheat, not much more comes up. Aftertaste has thin lemon with some yeast.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a frothy medium-sized white head. Sweet and slightly dusty and grainy malty aroma with a notes of cooked carrots. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Slim and slightly grainy malty base with present herbal hops and subtle fruity notes towards the slim and short hop bitter finish with a slightly papery grainy aftertaste. Profane Kölsch/Kölner Wiess-like beer. 03.VIII.10

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Grainy malty aroma with a hint of hops. The flavor is a little dirty and minerally with some grainy notes. Not that good.

Nickls (1881) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Bottle. Pours a cloudy sawdust orange color with a pure white head. No real retention or lacing. Lots of yeastiness and some grains with light fruit in the aroma. Bit earthy as well. Yeasty, messy flavor. Some fruits, a touch of bitterness from the hops, but really dull. Light fruits sneak in, but provide no real interest. Vibrant carbonation, and a bit chalky. Just not very good drinking.

hayduke (3422) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 17, 2010
From a bottle purchased at the Coop in Thusis, Switzerland. Pours a cloudy golden color with lots of particles floating around A medium white head that diminished quickly. Nose of sweet malts, toast, and citrus. The flavor is sweet and bitter which is often good, but not this time. Light body and watery mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. Generally a very mediocre beer.
