COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Empfohlene Trinktemperatur 15° C.

@ Festival der Bierkulturen. Pours hazy orange, with white/off white head. Nose is rather one-sided, some citric notes and grass. A bit sweet. Taste is medium-light/medium with some hops, banana, ginger, and sugar. Was ok.

[bottle from Visp] Spicy melanoidny malt aroma plus some fresh noble hops. Murky orange brown with a quickly descending off-white, bubbly foam. Sweet and spicy malt flavour that seems a touch under-attenuated. Healthy dose of herbal and spicy hops flavour together with a medium, almost pungent bitterness. Smooth and sweet, with moderate carbonation and a spicy, slightly bitter finsh.

Clear amber with quickly disappearing small white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, malty and some floral hints. Taste is sweet malty, hoppy and bitter, a little alcoholic towards the end. Carbonation is quite high. Aftertaste is malty and bitter. Too sweet for my taste, although it seems that they’ve tried to balance it with bitterness.

Bottle (Danke nach Kreuzlingen!): Hazy, amber coloured, lots of floaties visible, medium-sized - sloly collapsing - off-white fluffy head; sweetish-caramelly nose with a light, but distinctive hoppy background;; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty finish with a subtle fruitiness and a light bitter aftertaste. A tasty brew, no doubt.........

(33cl bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Hazy, amber to chestnut brown colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet caramel-malty nose with a touch of molasses and subtle beet-fruity notes. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malt-accented taste with notes of caramel, molasses and a touch of sugar beet; sweet malty finish with caramel and a tinge of hoppy bitterness. Likeable Steinbier-Bock (20.VII.09).

Sampled in Zurich. A really refreshing brew, drinks incredibly smooth. Pours decently dark amber with mild head. Full of good caramel flavors but not much else. Worth a try.

Hazy dark amber color. Very light aroma; caramel flavor, a bit stale, with no qualities, medium-low bitterness, some alcohol. Boring.
