Exceptionally good palate. Brewed in clear mountain water, rich in minerals - somehow one can taste it. Perfect sourness. There are tastes but one much fight to find them. Banana? weissbier? Anyhow, nicw beer.

Bottle at Tight Copenhagen (Sarah’s choice). Aroma is sourdogh bread, slightly stale wheat grains, some orange and alcohol around the edges. Clouded yellow / greyish coloured pour with a halo of white head. Flavour is sweet orange, wheat and flabby doughy bread. Sweet underfermented finish. Palate is flabby, with lowish carbonation. Lingering orange.

Small offwhite head doesn’t last and quickly disappears altogether. Hazy opaque paleish yellow body. Mealy earthy aroma with traces of tobacco. Sweetish mealy fruity taste with earthy tobacco notes. Mid-bodied. Mealy, slightly abrasive mouthfeel. Dryish earthy mealy aftertaste with coriander notes. Didn’t like it at first, but grew on me after I finished the rating. (0.75l bottle, from Meny Vika, Oslo.)

0.33l bottle. This is a yellow looking cloudy one. It also has a nice medium sized lasting white top. On the nose it has lots of lemonade tones, lemon zest, wheat, a quite distinctive sugary sweetness and a little bit of hay. Smells nice enough but a tad too sweet for my liking. Tastes quite alright. It has light almost thin feeling in the mouth and it’s above average on the carbonation level. Lots of wheat sweetness, more lemonade flavors with green lemon zest, white sugar, traces of herbs and it completely lacks bitterness. Again it feels a tad to sweet, but it’s definitely drinkable this. Light drinkable that is. 08.02.2014

Compared to other Blancs this one is just undrinkable. Offering a bit of wheat and some soap missing any herbs, fruits or sourness.

Pours out of the bottle in a hazy white-yellow colour with low head and thin body. Aroma of wheat and flowers followed by a taste of mild hops, light wheat, acid, berries and grass. Flowery and thin finish. Drinkable but nothing special.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small and fully diminishing head. Light malty – some wheat and lightly sweetish aroma with light spiciness (coriander), faint banana and citrus, light yeast. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly wheaty flavor, lightly sweetish flavor, with light banana.. Finish is short to average, malty – lightly wheaty, lightly sweetish with faint spiciness and citrus, light yeast. Bit watery witbier – no thrills/lacks character.

Straw cloudy, almost no head, very low carbonation. Subtle orange, wheat, spicy aroma and flavor, can’t find coriander there. Medium light body, very refreshing. The low carbonation sucked. Anyway it is a good beer.

Gul farge med tynt hvitt skum. Lukt av sitron, blomster, koriander og hvete. Hvete, krydder og en fin søtlig smak. Lett, rund hveteøl med medium kullsyre.

mathieuc (1143) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 22, 2014
Pours a really light and cloudy yellow with a small head offering poor retention but nice lacing. Nose is of oranges and coriander, classic witbier. Taste is of wheat, fruits and only lightly spicy. Body is light, mouthfeel is pretty average. Carbonation is medium or maybe high even. Not a bad beer at all,

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellowish, pale golden colour with average, rapidly diminishing, white head. Herbal, wheaty aroma, hints of lemon, gherkin. Taste is relatively sweet wheaty, slightly spicy and herbal, a touch of lemon, orange and gherkin; slightly fusty, not fully refreshing.
