COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

Nettes, aber unaufgeregtes Piwo mit einem leichten Touch and Malz und Nüssen. Hier und da angenehm in der Süffigkeit mit Karamell und etwas an Früchten. Nicht schlecht.

Pours out of the bottle in a hazy reddish colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of mild fruits and bread. Taste of bread, mild hops, flowers, biscuits, malt, barley and porridge. Easy drinkable yet nothing very nice / special.

On tap @ Ma Poule, Torvehall. This is a cloudy really deep amber almost brownish looking one and it has near no head. Smells nice, lots of caramelly sweetness, quite malty with nuances of red fruits. Not bad at all. I really needed a beer now, so this tasted quite nice. A bit like thin fruit saft. It doesn’t really have much bitterness, but lots of fruitiness with a faint red acidity in the back. Feels light oily in the mouth and it’s about average on the carbonation. Malty lingering tail. Just what I needed! 10.01.2014

Bottle, tasting at Cool Wine. Amber orange with a small light head. Smells of caramel with a little fruity and spicy touch. The flavour is light malt, wheat, a kind of berry sweetness that is actually quite pleasant. Not bad, dainty.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes bernsteinfarbnes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, würzig. Geschmack fruchtig süß, würzig malzig.

Bottle. Amber, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty - lightly wheaty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light berry fruitiness, faint spiciness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light berry fruitiness, faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty - faint wheat and lightly sweetish, light caramel and spiciness, light alcohol. Sweetish French ale with caramel - lacks character.

750ml bottle from Henri’s, shared with jeevan. Clear ruby pour, frothy white head. Aromas of not-a-great-deal, light yeasty esters and caramel. Taste is too sweet for me. Finishes clean to metallic. OK.

330ml bottle from Auchan. Pours a reddish brown.. a little sweeter than I anticipated with more of a caramelly Biere de Garde taste.. some malts coming through and a touch of dried fruits. Ok but not quite hitting the same notes as other BdGs I’ve had recently.
