COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

Bottle from E.Leclerc Supermarket, Grasse, France. Red-amber in colour with a thin white head. It has a sweet red fruit and currant flavour followed by earthy, toffee and candi sugar on the smooth finish. Not bad.

I bought this bottle at the Léman Center and I drank it with friends yesterday at Lausanne. It is not a bad amber beer but there is missing something. The body is red-orange, average carbonation, white and brown foam. The taste is malty, sweet, small touch of plum, caramel but the final note is a bit metalic and watery, drinkable.

Flaska från SB. Mahognybrun, djupröd med beigevitt skum. Söt, maltig doft av muscovadosocker, kola, en del torkad frukt. Något större kropp, något torr. Kola, torkad frukt, kakao, mörkt socker och något brödig i smaken. Väldig lik deras Brassin d’Hiver aux Marrons, men liksom mindre i det mesta.

Review based on the BJCP205 guidelines (style 24C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L16105 18:52 AROMA: medium-low toasty-bready sweet malt aroma with a slight peppery alcohol note. APPEARANCE: reddish-bronze color and translucent. medium creamy head, with a light tanned color and medium persistance. TASTE: predominant malt flavor with notes similar to the aroma and with medium intensity (toasty-bread). slight peppery alcohol note. medium-low to low bitterness balanced towards malt and a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium to medium-low body with a slight texture. moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice ambrée biere de garde.

75cl bottle. Clear reddish amber colour with a nice tan head. Moderate retention. Malts, caramel and fruity aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is more on the sweet side with dark fruit notes. Overall, a nice beer.
