This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

Sampled from bottle (thanks to Alengrin) @ Tim needs to get rid of his ticks tasting. Clear rusty orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sugar, lightly caramel. Hard to describe. Average to medium body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Copper looking beer not much head on top. Aroma is quite boozy. There is some sweet malts and grass within the booze. Taste is also a bit boozy, some sweet malts and grass too. Medium body and high carbonation. Not my pint of beer.

clear amber colour, huge, stable slightly yellowish off white head; aroma of dried fruits, caramel, honey notes, and some floral hops; taste of caramel, dried fruits, syrupy-honey notes and some minimal bitterness in the background - quite good beer

Big metallic taint in this beer, so much so that might be a drain pour if it doesn’t blow off. I hope the water from Mt Blanc is cleaner than this....

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep amber colour with a beige and big foamy head. Yeasty, toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel, bread crusts and a touch of dried fruits and nuts. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Bready and mildly toasted malty taste with notes of caramel and dried fruits; sweet malty finish, getting slightly thinner towards the very end; dried fruits and caramel in the aftertaste. 07.X.14

Bottle from Brune Rousse Houblon, Nice. Amber-brown with no head. Fairly complex with a mainly malt and grain character but there’s fruit in the nose and taste too. It’s a pretty good ale though.
