COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

RB Odense January tasting. Red amber with a big off-white head. Malty aroma with some caramel, a floral note and a touch of citrus. Sweetish malty flavour with fruity and floral notes and some Fullers-like marmalade

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a lightly hazy amber with a small, beige head. The aroma has a little - dry - caramel accents and some nuts. Medium body, brown sugars - again dry though - lightly spicy but hardly any bitterness. A pleasant and harmless easy drinker. 261212

Tap, pours a somewhat clear brown, not much head or lace. Notes are toffee, caramel, and butterscotch, and sugar. Cloying sweetness, really a gross candy bar tasting beer from France. Almost threw up. If they consider this a biere de garde then that’s sad. Give me a bud heavy over this brew.

Pours red-amber, smells caramel, malt and dried fruit. A bit yeasty, a bit fruity. Medium bodied ale with a short finish. Nice but simple.

Small, short-lived, amberish tinted head over clear ruby-chestnut beer. Oxydized to death, or full biscuit flavour. Syrupy old malt, dry dog food. Again malt syrup, if seriously dilated - alcohol surprisingly near inconspicious. Fruity, if somewhat tired esters, and quite a lot of caramel. Spritzy, for all the oxydation, still agreably refreshing; medium bodied at best. If Mont Blanc contributed anything, it has to be its snow. 1° This is anything BUT a Bière de GARDE, for crying out loud! 2° Many txs to Stef!

Bottle, 75cl. It’s an unclear, orangey in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has a nice touch of hibiscus, as well as generic fruityness and a spiced hint. Some sugary hints. The flavor isn’t as evident on the hibiscus, but with the same fruityness and sugar. Some spices too, and a touch of dried fruits. Full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Flowery, sweetish finish that’s actually quite dry. 121110
