This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

Hazy amber pour with an off-white head. Quite fruity on the aroma. Lots of esters with a very sweet sugary nose. Some bread and toasted malt with a hint of citrus. The flavor is bready with a light toasted quality.

Amberkleurig, zeer licht nevelig. Licht beige schuimkraag. Aroma van mout en caramel komt meteen de neus in. Bij de eerste slok komt daar wat fruitigs bij, lijkt op kersen. Smaak is bitter, licht zurig. Wat melig in de mond, laag tot medium co2. Lichte tot medium body. Beetje saai.

Pour is a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is of a nice caramel malt with some brown sugar and maybe a bit of cherry. Flavor is a little sour with some dark fruit and more of the caramel malt. It was okay to start with a strong malt presence but went down hill a bit after that with some blandness.

from Au Grain d’Orge, Neuchâtel - cloudy dark reddish-copper beer with no head retention; aroma of caramel, carrots and blood oranges; medium-bodied and pretty sweet; flowery with more notes of blood oranges and caramel - deeply modest
