COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

beautiful amber color with ruby tendancy. very nice head. strong malty taste with floral notes. ends with a slightly acid finish which makes it very easy to drink more than one... but 7.2% alc... simply one of the best amber beer I tasted so far, excellent and different!

Adoro questa birra! Colore ambrato meraviglioso cappello di schiuma beige, al palato morbidissima super beverina, sapore molto complesso, e finale persistente e caramelloso! Una ambra con i contro cazzi!!!

A deep cloudy red beer with a huge, creamy, beige head. Aroma is very complex, due to the rich maltiness and the little sour hint on the finish. Nice caramel notes.

330 ml bottle from Jumbo, Santiago de Chile. Drank at room temperature . Pours a delicate clear copper color with a medium beige head that diminishes fast and leaves no lacing. Aroma is strong malty and fruity with notes of red apples, sugar cane, strawberry, red currants and flowers. Quite interesting. Taste is rather sweet and intensely fruity. It shows hints of tropical fruit salad, Monks Cress and strawberries. Surprisingly fresh despite being so sweet. Smooth mouthfeel, oily texture. The finish is long and leaves an aftertaste that is almost as strong as the actual taste. Excellent French ale I would gladly try again.

Aroma is very strong and complex malts, mild/medium sweetness and a hint of fruit. The flavor is complex malts/definite oats in there, fruit, mild/medium sweetness, caramel and a tart/smooth finish.

Bottle, 75cl. It’s an unclear, orangey in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has a nice touch of hibiscus, as well as generic fruityness and a spiced hint. Some sugary hints. The flavor isn’t as evident on the hibiscus, but with the same fruityness and sugar. Some spices too, and a touch of dried fruits. Full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Flowery, sweetish finish that’s actually quite dry. 121110

[750ml bottle, Henri Stockbridge, Edinburgh] Clear ruby pour with decent white fluffy head. Aromas of toffee and caramel, some spice. Didn’t get much hibiscus on the taste, but there’s a good level of sweet malt and some fruity notes at the end. Doesn’t really taste over 7% - long, bitter finish, which is where the spices come out again. Really nice [19112011]

Bottle 33, a clear amber beer with medium head. Aroma is sweet and well malty, intense notes of barley sugar, caramel, licorice and some metallic almonds. Good body, nice floral hops bitterness on aftertaste, a good one.

Clear reddish caramel colour, beige head. Quite spicy aroma, hops, caramel, malts, cane sugar. Sweet malty flavour, light astringent hibiscus tea, light bitter. Soft mouthfeel, bitter spicy finish. Lingering bitterness. Quite special.
