3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured up out of a 33cl bottle in Brugge at Café Rose Red with clear copper body and tall tan head. The aroma offers up some apple notes and Belgian yeastiness and then moving into slight sourness and more apples. The taste has brown sugar and apples stumbling into yeastiness and it seems to stab at being a bit soured. It ends with some sweetness coming to the surface. Overall this seems a bit disjointed.

33 cl bottle at Gastropub Tuulensuu. L11-560, BBE 2013
Aroma is slightly sweet with citron, some fruits, floral notes, toffee and hints of brown sugar. Flavour is dry with ripe fruits, some citron, spices (cumin or similar) hints of alcohol and brown sugar. Finishes light with warming alcohol. Good, although the alcohol tries to push through on some sips, especially when eating.

Some red fruity notes detected, got a lot of overripe strawberries. Flavour is full, medium bitter and sweetish finish. Really carbonated mouthfeel.. overal a very Belgianny experience.. for a French ale... Not a bad beer...
