Bottle. Hazy amber with big off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, caramel an fruit. Flavour is malt, yeast, medium sweet, hop, little dark fruits, little bread and a little bitter.

Amberkleurig met een cremekleurige schuimkraag. Smaken van wat hop en mout in het begin en daarna karamel en getoast brood. Afdronk heeft een licht bittertje maar zeker niet storend Koolzuur zeker aanwezig, maar niet erg merkbaar. Hetzelfde geldt voor de alcohol.

Bottle at Antwaerps Bierhuiske, Antwerp. Amber a bit hazy beer with a big beige creamy head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Hoppy and spicy flavour with some bready notes.

A hazed dark amber ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, a grainy chalky malt with pils like qualities. In mouth, a grainy nutty malt with light butterscotch, a bit oxidized, so-so. Bottle at Mondiale 2012, June 8 2012.

Ambrée/brune, belle mousse avec une bonne tenue. Plus proche d’une bière brune, avec un malt bien présent.

Amberkleurig met een iets offwhite kop. Aardige schuimkraag en een mooie lacing die overblijft. Ziet er goed uit. Smaak start met wat hop en mout. Vervolgens toffee, brood, anijs en wat gist. Eindigt met een bittere afdronk. Koolzuur zeker aanwezig, maar niet erg merkbaar. Hetzelfde geldt voor de alcohol. Voelt vol en wat olie-achtig aan.

Bottle, at RBNAG-11. An almost clear one, golden in color and topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is fruity, with pale malt notes and white sugar. Maybe that doesn’t sound very good, but it was. The same goes for the flavor, fruity, malty and sugar, some bitterness kicking in towards the end. Full-bodied and smooth on the palate. A rather nice one, certainly one I’d like to revisit. 111015

Bottle at Antwaerps Bierhuiske, Antwerp. Hazy golden beer with a very nice lasting offwhite head. Bready flavor, yeasty, toffe, some spices, caramel. Toffee flavor, yeasty, some grass, bready, some dough, anise notes. Balanced and pleasant beer, this could just as well have been a real Chimay-beer.
