Scopey (3253) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2013
Bottle at The Anderson. It pours hazy deep amber with a small beige head. The nose is salted caramel, dark fruit, raisin, brown bread, touch of spice and wood. The taste is caramel, wood, earth, spice, warming alcohol, sultana, raisin, candy sugar and dull bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Very Chimay-like (unsurprisingly). Well-rounded and rather drinkable.

330 ml bottle. Tuulensuu, Tampere, Finland.
Dark amber colour with an average to big sized frothy white head. The aroma is some dried fruits, some maltiness and mild yeast. The flavour is pretty much the same. Not bad but nothing revolutionary either.
