Thanks Mathieu87. Sampled draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy amber, creamy white head. Huge citrus USA hops nose, creamy malts, fruity,… Taste is creamy malts, faint bread, sweetish fruity citrus hops, blueberry, lemon drops, creamy body. Bitter hop finish, delicious. I wouldn’t call this a Blanche, the hops rule here. Doesn’t really mater, this beer rules.

Bouteille 33cl, merci Pierre. BB 05/2016.

Sampled at La Cave à Bulles during Mont Salève tasting (Paris Beer Week). Hazy yellow/golden white-ish with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is quite hoppy for a Witbier with some spices, citrus and floral notes. Taste is more floral than aroma along some spices, breadied malt, citrus and very light bitterness. Light/medium body. Moderate carbonation. Clean. Super drinkable and refreshing/quenching. I would drink this often if it was available in my area during summer. Good hybrid between an IPA and a Witbier.

Bottle from Au Grain D’orges - Hazy pale yellow color, persitent white head - yeasty bready, sorachi ace aroma (coconut, lemon)- coconut, lemon, yeasty flavor - light body, average carbonation, hihg bitterness for a witbier long bitter and dry finish - too bitter for a witbier, it’s more like a Premium Bitter/ESB than a witbier but really interesting use of the sorachi ace

Appearance with pale golden color and small head. Aroma of melon, apple, citrus and wheat. Bitter and acidic flavor (unlike the common Witbier, really looks like a craft beer). On the palate, a watery texture and metallic end.
