erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - APR 4, 2013
Light misty golden body with frothy stable pillowy head. Looking nice for a simple Belgian blond. Very nice aroma, sweet hops, bready malts, clementine and a saison like farmers yeast to complement. Nothing extreme with an aromatic mix like a dimmed down ipa (in expressivity, not character). Light bitterness, rich for what it is and very high quality. They certainly use excellent ingredients. Drinks easily, well balanced and light active carbonation. Bitterness stays put until the end. A very quality brew with great (hop) character. This brewer really got their basics (blonde, blanche, etc) right before they moved to the modern (for France unfamiliar) styles. Great beer, high quality and retaining its own character. (33cl bottle from Au Nom De La Bière)

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy copper orange beer. Nose is on fruit hops such as orange and pine. Aroma is fruity on grapefruit and orange, medium bitter, low hops, low malty, another boring grapefruit beer.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, flowers, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and yeast, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with a creamy white head. Sweet coriandery nose. Medium body, fruity with Belgian yeast and a little phenols. Hoppy finish. Not bad, but Belgian Blondes are one of the most boring beer styles. 160912
