UPDATED: JUL 22, 2014 2x33cl bottles, bb08/2014 Cave à bulles, sampled over 4 months. Inviting nose promises pineapple, strawberry, taste delivers quince and orange compote on a soggier palate with a roasty caramel edge, spruce with a dry plywood edge. Some abv coming through. Nice composition, with rougher edges in the execution.

Bottle at home, 13th February 14. Nice floral aroma on opening, taste is bitter, good malts, slightly watery, palate is ok, not spot on. Not bad

Very nice IPA created by La brasserie du Mont Salève. I really like their beer because of the big notes of dry hoping, and it is what we find in the India Pale Ale, with pleasure. The bitterness is prononced but does not hide the malty notes, it is the perfect dose for an India Pale Ale and it is for guy who are not very sensible to bitterness (like I) seek this taste.

Bottle 33cl at "le sur mesure" in Nantes. Hoppy Aroma. Golden Colour, medium to light body and medium carbonation. Finish is bitter. Classic IPA. Nice.

330ml bottle from Cave a Bulles. I don’t often give a beer massively high ratings, but for this one I really find it hard to fault. Beautifully fresh aroma with a rosy dark red / brown appearance. Lusciously ripe fruity hops with some pine and a slight dryness on the finish. Perfectly blended, fantastic IPA.

Pours a hazy amber color with a medium white head. Discreet aromas of malts, citrus and fruits. Great bitterness. It is to deplore that hoppy aromas are not assumed.

From tap at moeder lambic fontainas. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma is malt, hops, caramel. Taste is too malty, sweet for my palate. Hops are drowned in too much malt flavour. Okay but not my taste.

Hazy deep gold beer. Big fluffy pale cream coloured head. Palate is a little crisp and semi dry. Light pale malt with a little honey sweetness. Light and dry marmalade orange. Noble hop like bitterness brings up the rear to the semi dry finish. Somewhere between a golden ale and an English IPA.

IPA too acid for me at the beginning but better after few minutes in the glass. Not bad!!
