3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared with wim at wim’s place. Black colored beer with medium diminishing off-white head and no carbonation visible. Malty hopped coffee aroma. Full sparkling and creamed palate. Finish is hopped bitter coffee hinten ending a bit roasted. Nice one, certainly for the low alcohol percentage.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Haandfest 2014. As good as black in the glass and it has a small grey ish islandy and lacing head. In the nose it’s light minerrallish dry roasted. Traces of dry chocolate and cold coffee. A faint licorice trace here as well. It’s quite flavorful for being such a little guy. Softly roasted, really minerallish, some dry cocoa. Near flat but some prickling left and it’s quite thin in the mouth. Ends quite mouthdrying and almost a little chalky. All in all not a bad one. 24.05.2014

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ La Fine Mousse. Dark brown with a small beige head and light lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt, citrus, mineral notes and tropical fruits. Taste is moderate bitter with roasted malt, citrus and mineral notes. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Moderately dry finish. Really tasty for a 3.5% abv beer. Drinkable. The palate is a little light, but otherwise there’s no way you can tell this beer is under 6% abv. Well done!
