Capolavoro assoluto!! MAi bevuta una Black Ipa così, bassa gradazione...molto bassa e, un’esplosione di sapori e un’amarezza proninciata che non è mai banale e ben sposata con il torrefatto. Semplocemente un CAPOLAVORO

On tap at Festibière festival in Gembloux. Very special hoppy and bitter black beer, surprisingly complex for such a low abv. Good stuff!

Bonne amertume, épices, agrumes. Facile à boire sans tomber dans la facilité. Agréable surprise vu le petit % d’alcool.

Sample at Haand Festival 2014. Black body with a big beige head. Roasty aroma with grass, mango, light smoke hints. Thin body, but at 3,5% that’s really no fault. Quite bitter taste, coffee and hops, with a dense grapefruit sting. Dry roasty finish, light fruity. Surprisingly massive in taste considering the strength, it’s not my first go-to-bipa, but for a sessionable one it’s a pearl.

Shared with wim at wim’s place. Black colored beer with medium diminishing off-white head and no carbonation visible. Malty hopped coffee aroma. Full sparkling and creamed palate. Finish is hopped bitter coffee hinten ending a bit roasted. Nice one, certainly for the low alcohol percentage.

On tap @ Haandfest 2014. As good as black in the glass and it has a small grey ish islandy and lacing head. In the nose it’s light minerrallish dry roasted. Traces of dry chocolate and cold coffee. A faint licorice trace here as well. It’s quite flavorful for being such a little guy. Softly roasted, really minerallish, some dry cocoa. Near flat but some prickling left and it’s quite thin in the mouth. Ends quite mouthdrying and almost a little chalky. All in all not a bad one. 24.05.2014

Pours a very dark brown beer with a huge, creamy beige head.Lovely. Aroma is nutty, coffee and malty. Bit stout-ish. Flavour is medium bitter with coffee. Long bitter and dry finish. Overall a quite nice beer.

Very thin beige head. Dark cola. Smells of tropical fruits then black currant, typically mosaic. Bitter, short duration. Roasted malt. Slight acidity on the palate. Soft carbonation.
