Aroma of tropical fruits, malt, citrus, orange, grapefruit, caramel, yeast, floral, hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a lovely bitter finish. Very juicy and fruity Double IPA, really tasty.

(bottle) slightly opalescent amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of caramel, yeast and sweatsocks, with a light hint of lime, lots of orange peel and chalk. flavour is mostly the same, some toffee, mango and herbal hops, slightly resinous, with a light hint of dill and some alcohol in the medium-bitter finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with average carbontion.

Bottle from La Cave à Bières, Yverdon-les-Bains; bb 22/09/2015
Cloudy but bright light amber color, medium sized compact head. Very nice aroma of fruity hops; sweet oranges, light cedar, plums, mango. Dry mouthfeel, weaker than expected; the malt profile is simple; strong bitterness, strong resiny hops, a bit fruity; too much yeast, and some vegetables.
Nice beer, a bit too dirty.

Bottle - Mandarin and some sweet notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light Mandarin, peel and light vegetal notes. Not great.

330mL bottle, pours an opaque dark orange with a small off-white head. Nose is very malty and yeasty, with caramel malts, yeast, and some earthy hops. Flavour is quite odd, with earthy hops, muted muffled yeasty notes, and earthy bready malt. Very confused flavours, with a very yeasty, dry bready finish that doesn’t sit too well. Doesn’t emulate its North American counterparts too skillfully. It’s okay, but nothing impressive.

Orange color with big white head. Nice tropical fruity hops. Heavy bitterness, dry. Very dry for a Double IPA. Medium carbonation. Nice, but one-dimensional.

Lovely beer. Very intensely hopped. Tropical fruits, passion fruit, mango etc and a nice lingering bittereness. Strong in alcohol but quite thirstquenching anyways. A very nice mild double ipa, not too much caramel and sweetness as most double IPAs

Worthy of the label Double IPA, this beer plays in the soft category of this kind. The aftertaste of bitterness is strong and arrives rapidly. As fo many IPAs, the beer is good, but it may not be easy to drink more than one bottle.

Odeur de houblon, goût de houblon. Y’a du houblon et rien d’autres. Pas d’autres goût. Après une, deux minutes, on sent l’alcool qui chauffe la gorge. Elle ne mérite pas le "double" de double IPA

Amber colour. White head which becomes a thin white layer. Hoppy aroma. Creamy in the mouth. Bitter but less bitter than the average double IPA.
