bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Hazy golden, with a white head. Intensive aroma of hops, tropcial fruit. Full-bodied, intensive malty base that delivers loads of delicious fruity hops. Slightly grassy and resine, but mainly with tropical fruit flavours.

Light amber, rather clear. Nice head. Powerful aroma, piney and fruity. Sweet feeling, but very balanced with bitterness. Don’t taste the alcohol. Yay.

Bottle 33cl, a clear copper beer with good head and retention. Nose is on fresh apricot, mango and lichee. Aroma is on fresh fruits, again mango and lichee with resin and light coconut touch, medium sweet to high, well balanced, almond, nice bitter resin and coconut touch at the finish, long bitterness on aftertaste with good duration, well done and not pretentious.

Dark amber color, minimal white head. Aroma of acacia honey, marshmallow. Same in the taste with a bitter dry finish. I’m not a huge fan of this kind of beers but this is a good stuff.

Hazy orange beer under a very good big-bubbled orangeish cream head, quite stable, leaving shards of lace. End of bottle some vicious UFO’s. Fruity, citrussy hopnose; citruspeel mainly, grapefruit, mandarine(peel). Ever so slightly catty. Bitter, hoppy, but with a nice sweet-ish underbuild, bit caramelly. Orangemarmalade. Hints at orangecookies retronasal, where the bitterness is getting more mild, if with a metallic tang. Well-bodied, very slick to oily, well-carbonated. Very good IPA, maybe just a tad too light for a true Imperial IPA.
