A hugely aromatic little thing, yellow-gold in color with lemongrass, flowers and earth wafting over it. Totally dry and quite bitter, verging on astringent. Bitterness lasts. A fun beer that is not quite in balance but plenty refreshing for all that. Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas.

Draft at Tilquin English Beerfestival. Peppers, lemon-like, very harsh bitterness, bad.

On tap at LA Fine Mousse. Aroma: lots of dill and citrus. Sweet at first, becoming bitter fast. Spicy hops. The body is obviously pretty light and a bit watery, but it doesn’t taste like a 2.5% beer. Like a sorachi ace hop tea

Light hazy amber with a small off white fading head. Predominant aromas are coconut, lime and floral apricot notes. Light carbonation with a soft texture and a light body. A light fruity sweetness makes way to a solid hop bitterness going with te fruit theme. Light dry short-medium lasting finish. The malt body is faint and could use more of a momentum to make it a true session IPA, as is it is more like a low alcohol beer but then a pretty good one!

First : Most of you won’t like this. This is a proper specialty beer for fans of actual bitterness. Nose from bottle : Classic citrus notes, you can play the "fruit guessing game". It’s impossible to tell that this beer has such a low ABV just by smelling it. It smells "real". Taste : The first sip reveals this as a light beer, but don’t be fooled. It’s very strong in taste, the bitterness immediately rushes through you and the non-existing malts give even more room to the dry bitterness of the hops. It has an almost unrivaled finish in terms of intensity and length. The bitter notes that linger in your mouth are truly excellent and will please every lover of true bitterness. Sadly it’s an imported beer so I can’t make this my "house beer" but I totally would. The low ABV paired with the still very intense aroma make this an enjoyable beer without getting you drunk. But I want to repeat : This is mostly just bitter. That’s it. If you want malts and complex hops and even a remote hint of sweetness, this is not the beer for you! But if you love bitterness and look for a light beer : THIS IS IT!

Bottle from De Molen shop. Hazy gold pour with gigantic chunks of crap, should have poured a bit more carefully. Aroma is hoppy, really leafy, some notes that remind me definitely of pickles but also lemon rind, grass. Taste is bitter, leafy hoppiness, vegetal green sort of bitterness, again something pickle like, maybe chlorophyl, strange but not bad. Palate is light bodied, good carbonation, good body considering the very low ABV. Decent.

A lot of herbes and a bit of abricots in the nose. The taste is dominated by herb infused bitterness. Too much bitterness for me.
