Hopverdju (609) - BELGIUM - JUL 30, 2016
Zwart bier met weinig beige/bruin schuim. Geur: eerst redelijk neutraal, daarna: kersenpitten, wat amandel, mueslibar. Smaak: geroosterde mout, licht bitter, Koffiecichorei. Waterig mondgevoel. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitter, Picon.

Bawelt (514) - Lyon, FRANCE - APR 20, 2016

ClubGonzo (5406) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle from Les Fleurs du Malt (the shop), Lyon. Pours a black body with a medium creamy beige head of somewhat limited durability. Nose is roasted bread, coffee, dark chocolate and hints of burnt sugar and grains. Taste is coffee, dark chocolate, burnt sugars, toast and hints of licorice and bread. Medium body, soft carbonation. A quite lovely little stout, very drinkable and with no faults whatsover. Except for being a bit boring, perhaps.
