Courtesy of Jaghana.

330ml bottle from trade with Jaghana - thanks! Pours an oily black with a small brown head that disappears quickly. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, burnt toast, molasses and twiglets. Quite a thin body and light carbonation. Lovely taste of coffee at first followed by malts and toast. Alcohol is well hidden.

On bottle at Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival. Close to black with a modest, beige head. Malty atoma with roasted malt, dark fruits, caramel and some earthy notes and hints of chocolate. Moderate sweet with earthy and malty flavours, as certain bitternes and balance. Quite tasty and drinkable.

Bottle, at Haand Festival. A sexy looking black beer topped by a dense, tan head. The aroma has licorice, molasses, some dark chocolate and roasted malts, and a little touch of alcohol. It’s quite roasted in the mouth, dry and full-bodied, with chocolate, licorice and some alcohol warmth. Lots of chocolate showing up towards the end. An interesting and quite lovely beer. 140524

Appearance with black color and minimal brown head. Toasted malt aroma with raisin and cacao notes. In the mouth, it is bitter and sweet. The 9% alcohol is not so noticeable.
