Very dark brown, beige, light brown head. Sticks good, could hold a bit longer. Sweet, light bitter roasted coffee-chocolate, dark fruits. A bit outbalanced, the sweetness is a bit unpleasant, a lot of carbonation making the mouthfeel less good. A bit earthy and dry at the end.

Bottle. [thanks Feldthaus]
Pours deep red chestnut with a medium, frothy, beige head. Aroma has light berries, mild roasted astringency, chocolate, plums and a bit of milk and lactic acid. Highish carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour has mild lactic acid, lactose, chocolate. Dry, bitter and grainy with a bit of fruitiness in the end. Not sure the lactic acid was supposed to be there. Still it was quite drinkable.

Thanks to Kristina for this rare tick... Looks good, dark drown with a big light tan head, great retention... Nice nose of chocolate... The taste is off as this is too carbonated, horrible mouthfeel. Alcohol and chocolate notes of taste are fine, just too distracted on the feel.

(Draught) Very hazy dark brown with a large, creamy and lacy head. Slightly sweet, licoricey nose with lightly roasted malt and a touch of tartness. Licoricey-malty flavor with some color maltiness, masked by a touch of malt sweetness. Medium to full body, low carbonation. An excellent and tasty Imperial Porter, if you don’t miss the hops. 5347
