Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma ha some brett as well as some biscuit malt and green grapes. The flavor has some brett-like funk, white wine grapes, grass, biscuit malt, peppers and Belgian yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottiglia 75cl, ordinata su birraland e bevuta a casa.

[20-OCT-2013] Draught at EurHop Beer Festival (EBF) 2013 in Rome. Pours like fruit salad - yellow, aroma of honey, nice caramel acidity, flavor is slightly sour, not that interesting, medium bodied

(750ml bottle) Pours a murky maize body with a medium fizzy white head. Aroma of florals, grape skins, grain, and horse blanket. Flavor of florals, orange, brett, oak, earth, and light medicinal with a dry finish.

Appearance: very hazy/cloudy dark gold, with one finger of near white head and average lacing. Aroma: slightly musty grain, some cracker, honey, and yeasty spice, with a hint of white grapes and apricots. Taste: a bit wheaty, with some notes of grapes, apple, rice, barnyard, pear, and a bit of honey. Finish: clean, slightly tart and a bit dry, like white wine. Notes: Ordered online for a beer pairing dinner, specifically for the Italy course. Really glad I did; this was the hit of the evening. Really balanced, delicious, and unique. A bit like a saison mixed with a champagne.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà. Great beer. Aromas of caramel, butter, with hints of flowers. Taste is sweet, with light sourness, and long length. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Yellow, with a thin head.

Note d’uva e di malti. Chiude con un lieve amaro erbaceo. Birra elegante, complessa e davvero ben fatta.
