3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 4, 2009 2009-05-15, draught at Københavnske Øldage 2009, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Cloudy amber color. Malty aroma, some vegetables. Medium body, caramel and malt flavor, without the Montegioco Brett character, quite powerful but not impressive.
2008-05-30, blind tasting at Yespr’s, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Cloudy amber color. As usual in average Italian beers, there is a yeasty aroma. It has a quite round mouthfeel, with sweet caramel flavor, some diacetyl and average bitterness; also some quite good hop, hidden; and warming alcohol. Imprecise, but not bad.
