Demon Hunter an intense beer with great complexity. It is of amber color with a persistent head. the nose has notes of chestnut trees, mature plums, grapes and caramel. The pepper compliments the light herb notes from the hops. The flavor starts with a taste of honey and is finishes on a beautifully hop note. Demon Hunter is brewed using malt and hops. 5th beer of Italian Beer Tasting at Finalmente in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This is my favorite so far of this tasting. Pours amber and smells spicy and of dark fruit. Tastes of plum and other fruits, its malty with hints of caramel with some hop. really good now this tasting is heating up.

Vendor sampling on this one, rough description. Soft copper brown pour. Malt forward and bready in the nose and slightly candy-ish. Some umami and light toffee flavors come through as well. In general this one was pretty muted and singular, although not unpleasant

Finally got the right chance to buy this one! 50% off sale, sold! Pours hazy dark amber with floaties and a sudsy white head that fades to a foamy film. Aroma is sweet candied sugar and pepper spice with some mild funk and muted hops. Taste is sweet spicy malt and sugar along with a little funk and subtle tartness and bitterness with subtle grape apple qualities. Palate is full calm yet fizzy and drying. Very enjoyable!

Pours a brown copper color with a finger of eggshell foam that evaporates instantly. Aromas are warming, sweet toffee, date with touches of plum, earthy wood and booze, On the palate its complex and intriguing... sweet vanilla caramel, vinous fruit, and a touch of earthy bitterness on the finish.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2012 Ottima!

Tap at Ma Che, Trastevere Roma - 03/10/12. Opaque murky amber/brown with a big frothy tan head. Good lacing ensues. Fruit tones on the nose, apple, prunes, rhubarb, a little toffee, bread and spice. Tastes of toffee fudge, dates, prunes, orange pith, cinammon and a touch of alcohol. Fullish bodied with fine carbonation leading to a smooth and sweet finish with a pinch of spice.

Bottle at GBBF 2012. It pours murky amber, with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is cake, brown bread, sweet dark fruit, brown sugar and light spice. The taste is caramel, plum, prune, date, red grape, brown sugar and maple syrup, with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly syrupy mouth-feel.
