12 oz. bottle to snifter. Pours clear bright amber with a quick white soapy head that dissipates to a faint wispy film. Aroma has a lovely sweet tartness of wood vanilla and sour sugar (very subtle and smooth). Taste is crisp and clean with a bitter subtle tartness of apples and grape peel and leather that leaves you with dry woodiness. Palate is medium and refreshingly crisp with a gentle carbonation and leaving a drying finish. Very smooth and enjoyable beer with an awesome balance being 8.5 % alcohol. I would consider buying again!

Clear golden pour with white head. Slightly sour acidic notes, which I attributed to the wine barrels. Didn’t really delve too deeply into this one, but It was definitely not worth the price.
