Murky yellow with a thin white head. First whiffs are sour funk with ginger and peaches. Smooth with a medium body and light carbonation. Nice flavor is only lightly sweet with peaches, ginger, floral jasmine, pale malts and other spices. Has a mildly bitter finish. Worth a try if you can find this.

Nicely packaged in the paper wrap. Ends there. I’ll repeat what I say about Italian beer: We Italians make great food, great wine, great music, great art, and great love . . . but lousy beer. This was no exception. Straw body with a wisp of white head that you’d miss if you blinked. Faint presence of the promised peaches. Mostly malt and yeast and some spice. The flavor was tart/sour with a sour finish. Bad.

750, corked, capped, and papered, at Shawn’s birthday gathering. Pours murky medium orange with some amber spots here and there. Light tan creamy foam on top for a second. Nice big peachy nose, with a trace whiff of mineral in there. Body comes on strong on the high side of medium with some nize fizz and some sharp tangy snap from the fruit and probably a bit of bugged sour funk as well. Plenty of peach, a bit of mineral, and a tiny trace of barnyardy sour on the mid-palate. Tidy dry finish. Not quite as good as the wrapper, but that wrapper is some pretty stiff competition.

Pour is hazed light orangey yellow with a thin bright white head...it does sort of look like a peach...smell is lightly sweet and spicy with some pepper and clove, and hints of peach...nutmeg too...taste is quite spicy with some very familiar flavor from my past that I cannot remember or put a name too...it has lightly sweet flavors, and somehow tastes like a fruitcake...and that is not a good thing...

Sampled at the North Park Belgian Beer Party at my house on 3-29-08. Pours with a slightly cloudy, pale yeallow body topped by a thin to medium thick white head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sour and lemony with a touch of grassy bitterness. Light bodied and crisp.

Pours a very haze peachy gold, so-so head, but it lasted nicely. Aroma is Belgian yeast spicey, a bit of pepper, and faint peach on the finish, very saison-like. Flavor is a dead-on match to the nose. There is a bit more peach evident as it warms up, but sort of on the musty side of things as opposed to the sweet side. Not bad, just wanted more. Should also point out that there is a bit of a sour note as well that lightens things up a bit.

Pops open with a military thud. Pours nearly opaque orange-gold with orange-red highlights; it looks, probably not accidentally, like a peach. two finger white head. Smells peachy--the bee’s knees--but like the musty peach you get from certain Saisons. There’s a touch of spice in there, and some very Belgian yeast hiding beneath it all. Flavor is generically fruity, more lemon and apple than peach, with touches of spice. A bit sour in the middle. I get some peach just before the short, uninspired finish. Good beer, but I thought almost $20 would get me a little more...oomph.

Bottle: Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Aroma, lemon, tart, some bready yeast, and some slight funk. Flavor, yeasty, spices, lemon some slight funk. There was a light sourness, did not notice any peach at all. Tasty, but nothing special.

Light aroma with some hints of funk and a light citrus smell. The body is amber with moderately high carbonation. The palate is medium. Taste is lightly sour with some fruity aspects--but I don’t really get any peach specifically. Easy to drink and enjoyable, but forgettable at the same time.
