Muddy peach color. Texture of a light wine. Lots of floral fruits in the nose. Very delicious. Rated 8/4/08

Keg (Bir&Fud, Rome)
Orange-yellow, cloudy. Sharp, almost sour, peachy aroma. And that’s real peach, not just some lame artificial flavouring. Surprisingly watery palate, but by heck this covers 7% amazingly. A bit thin on the finish, disappears too quickly, and has no staying power. Nothing wrong with it though, and better than many Belgian fruit beers.

Bottle. Been saving this one for a while and cracked ’er open to celebrate the Ravens’ domination of the Patriots. Pours with a fuzzy golden color, but barley any head. The aroma is rich with ripe fruit. After that first waft, this drinks with a much more subdued character than I’d expected -- whatever peach character is here is well disguised in pleasant-to-drink Belgian-style ale, golden and crisp, with an effervescence of a fall day in the orchard. Quite nice. (#3791, 1/10/2010)

Bottle. Aroma of both musty and super fresh peaches, maybe some pear notes, mostly peaches, enticing peaches. Flavor of sweet and tart peaches, super fresh, with a hint of pale malt. A bit overcarbonated for my liking, but alright there. Not complex but tasty.

Bottle from Ginger Man. Pours a clear light orange/yellow with no real head. Aroma is straight-out peaches with some light musty funk. Flavor is also quite peachy with some light sugary sweetness too. Great fruit beer! I’m especially a fan of those peach beers and this was a good one! 8/4/8/3/15 [3.8/5]

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2009 (Draught@Bir&Fud, Rome) Opaque orange with a medium, firm head. Sourish, peachy aroma. Flavor is very fruity with fresh peach, some lemony touches, moderate sourness. Medium body, soft carbonation, refreshing palate. A very nice, balanced and lambic-like fruit beer.

13th September 2008. Cloudy yellow beer. Peach! What peach? Just the barest hint of it in a sharp sourish beer. Refreshing and drinkable.

servita alla spina,si presenta con un bel colore paglierino sormontata da una bella schiuma avvolgente e duratura x tutta la bevuta. stranissimo il retrogusto di pesche, che la rende una birra leggermente e piacevolmente acida.

750ml bottle with some age on it, maybe a year or more. Pours a hazy, yellowish-golden hue with a thin layer of white foam at the head. Fading away to a thin rim, the froth leaves minimal, wet spotting behind. The aroma shows pale candy malts up front, with some lightly doughy yeast and hints of tannic, slightly tart peach skins. Flavors run along the same lines, sweeter than expected with a candyish, blonde malt profile and a very mild peach note. The palate is medium in stature, perhaps a little thin, though it sports a "whipped" sort of soft, fluffy carbonation. The semi-dry finish makes it moderately refreshing. Good brew.
