Hazy amber with a medium beige head. Spicy nose with malt, caramel and hoppy hints. Flavor had hops, fruit and malty hints. Finished dry and slightly bitter.

cloudy yellow,smoothwhitehead. sweet mild malty aroma with a flowery base. flavor is yellow fruity, faint bitterhoppy, ends bitter.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of phenols, malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry phenolic finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours deep golden with a slight haze and a dense off-white head. Sweet and fruity nose. Medium body, sweet if somewhat skewed fruitiness. Some phenols and alcohol in the finish. 100910

750ml Bottle: Aroma of fruit, orange, slight coriander, BubbleYum, and a hint of yeast. Poured amber/orange in color with a small, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Full of small and medium-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet. Taste of fruit, light yeast, orange, grain, apricot, peach, and slight herbs. Medium body. Slick texture. Soft to average carbonation. Medium sweet, fruit, peach, grain, and slight herb finish.

750 from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Opens with a pop, and it gushes. Pour is hazy, amber ripe stone fruity with a foamy head that quickly leaves. Strong ripe light stone fruit aromas. Near full in body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is ripe light stone fruit with some yeastiness. But the main impact is near ripe peach or apricot. The flavor is lush and fruity. I’m not getting sage. But this is one fantasic tasting ale. Even more tasty than the Demon Hunter.

( 750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours opaque orange with nice bubbles and good lacing. Nose of metal, white grapes, clover honey and fireweed. Taste is honey, spicy, and watery body.

( 750ml bottle ) Pours a murky orange body with a small white head. Aroma of mustiness, yeast, coriander, and florals. Flavor of Belgian yeast, florals, and herbs (sage in particular). Refreshing. Interesting to try an ale brewed clary sage, as once used as a flavoring agent in beer prior to the introduction of hops.
