Schiuma compatta e persistente, colore giallo dorato, opalescente.

From draft. Cloudy pale gold with a fine and white lasting head. Aroma is yeasty and muddled with faint lemon juice hoppiness and near-transparent pale malt, difficult to get a sense behind the yeast. Light bodied and watery and thin with lemon juice acidity and a growing yeast sourness in the finish. As it warms the malt becomes more apparent but the character is mostly grainy / raw. Simple Belgian beer that needs to be cleaned up for presentation, and more malt depth would help as well. Sadly it’s not anything like the De la Senne version Taras Runa.

33 cl in Teku. Pours a white dense and quite lasting head, a bit cloudy and golden yellow colour. Smells honey, almost vanillaish, with a delicate but very aromatic hoppiness, wow. Tastes grainy, grassy, lightly spiced; has a perfect sweet / bitter balance imo, really(although slighlty more on the bitt side). Quite consistent body, fizzy carbonation, nice balance. Awesome smell, refreshing and very drinkable !

330 ml bottle from Birra+. Golden yellow, slightly hazy, with a nice, creamy and persistent bright white head. Grassy, herbal and dank nose, some honey and spices too. Very similar to the likes of Taras Boulba, but not quite fresh and intense. Taste pretty much follow suite, Big honey sweetness upfront, not much bitterness to speak of. Very watery, but not exactly easy drinking due to a rather big astringency. Could be more dry and less sirupy, imho. Herbal, peppery and malty aftertaste. Mild yeast influence as well. Soft to average carbonation, light body, creamy texture. Decent, but overall forgettable.
