UPDATED: SEP 29, 2008 Very fine & dense white head, over fully hazy straw beer. White wine nose, like a demi-sec, very fine southern wine. A bit of human sweat, a lot of grapes, some coriander, obviously wine like. Champenoise pearling & MF, really wine-like. Very strange, delicate beer, but not exactly exciting.
Mille grazie, Lorenzo!
Second rating, specially aged version at the brewery.
Gushing but no head; hazy pale yellow beer. [3/5]Very grapy, white winegrape nose, sharp, going over in clear white wine. [8/10]Soft-sweet, winy taste, oseille/zurkel, like fish cooked with white wine & vegetables in foil. Exceptional flavours. Wood, vinous, some restsugars. [8/10]Fiery MF, light body yet nowhere empty. [3/5]Great beer, with a totally unedited flavourprofile. Mille grazie, Ricardo, for a try of this very limited beer. [16/20]
Total: 3.8/5 for the longer aged version.
