Bottle, Bir & Fud, Roma. Hazy yellow pour with a big white head. Nose had notes of spice, grape, wood, brett and citrus. Sweet and sour flavour with more fruits and brett alongside pale malts and a little hoppage. Quite lively carbonation. Tart citrus finish. Likeable stuff

bottle a friend found in the back of his stash from a few years back. opened with a nice hiss and poured a golden color with a one finger white head and steady carbonation. aroma has dusty grapes, yeast, and some surviving hops. mouth feel is light and there is high crisp carbonation. flavor has a nice bit of yeast, grapes that have lost there brightness, flowers, very mild wood, and a slight tartness. very nice beer and although it has lost the brightness it stood up incredibly well.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà. Great beer. Aromas of caramel, butter, with hints of flowers. Taste is sweet, with light sourness, and long length. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Yellow, with a thin head.

Queste birre di Montegioco con mosto di vino mi convincono fino ad un certo punto, però sicuramente è più rotonda della Openimnd

Poured a hazy dark straw color, thin even white head. Lightly sweet and floral/fruity aroma, apricot, light apple. Mildly sweet, very mild fruity tartness on the start, more malic on the finish. A decent summer brew.

Bottle. Pours a pale orange with heavy white head. Aroma of lemon, angel food cake, floral hops, and grape juice. Flavor is predominantly malt (nutty and caramel notes) with some dry white wine. A bit of brett in the finish to go with white wine and lemon. Overall, it’s refreshing but not a stand out.

Thanks to JMFG. Pours a hazy gold. Aroma of grains, lemons, apples and yeast. Flavors are yeasty with some lemon and grain. Light and refreshing.

Appearance: very hazy/cloudy dark gold, with one finger of near white head and average lacing. Aroma: slightly musty grain, some cracker, honey, and yeasty spice, with a hint of white grapes and apricots. Taste: a bit wheaty, with some notes of grapes, apple, rice, barnyard, pear, and a bit of honey. Finish: clean, slightly tart and a bit dry, like white wine. Notes: Ordered online for a beer pairing dinner, specifically for the Italy course. Really glad I did; this was the hit of the evening. Really balanced, delicious, and unique. A bit like a saison mixed with a champagne.

13/09/2012 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Dorata, opalescente, torbida, schiuma abbondantissima, abbastanza persistente. Naso molto delicato, sentori di lieviti e uva dolce. In bocca è dolciastra, lievemente acidula, mostra qualche difetto di gioventù, si intuisce che è una birra dal potenziale molto elevato e di grande eleganza. Corpo medio, buona carbonazione. Non era in forma splendida, mi piacerebbe riprovarla.

Grapy and oaky nose. Sweet grape and smooth flavors. Overall a very decent beer. Tasted @ Birch tasting
