COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There’s plenty of rich maltiness from this Pale Ale and higher-kilned malt combination. The Cascade and special New Zealand hops create a fruity aroma with a dose of bitterness to drive home the hop flavour. A beer for the IPA aficionado with a distinctly Kiwi style. Perfect for a moment spent catching up with old mates.

Bottled at Kastrup Airport, Denmark. Clear golden, rich head. Aroma of boiled vegetables. Sweet and sugary with boiled cabbage and syrup. Fairly low bitterness. Eh.

Pours a pale colour. Taste is a bit skunked and herbal. Cannabis and pungent hops. Ok

Bottle at Piccadilly, Bodø. Pours a clear amber color with an off-white head. Careful and sweet aroma of caramel, pale malt, dried fruit and cooked vegetables. Flavor of harpix, caramel, leather, metal, grassy hops. Strange bitterness and is unbalanced. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium to heavy bitterness. A little weird and unbalanced ale. Far from an IPA.

Bottle @ Fiddlers. Pours a clear orange beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is faintly hoppy, has a metallic note and some faint citric notes. Flavor is bittersweet, again metallic notes and has a bit too much malty stuff going on. Even a hint of cardboard detected in the very end. Crisp, well carbonated mouthfeel, decent aftertaste. Not too impressed by this mediocre IPA to be honest.

Picked up for €1.50 on the Newcastle-Amsterdam ferry, which should have been a clue to the quality in retrospect. Pours amber with a thin fading off white head. Mild grainy aroma. The taste is grainy malt, with metallic and medicinal notes. Some floral hop. Very poor.
