There’s plenty of rich maltiness from this Pale Ale and higher-kilned malt combination. The Cascade and special New Zealand hops create a fruity aroma with a dose of bitterness to drive home the hop flavour. A beer for the IPA aficionado with a distinctly Kiwi style. Perfect for a moment spent catching up with old mates.

Bottle: Clear red colour, nice head. Aroma is dominated of fruits, sweet malts, caramelly. Flavor had a orange, and strench bittternes, thin body, some bitter sweet finish.

Bottle at Masonic Arms, Kirkcudbright. Orange/brown with a it of carbonation. Candy sugar and plastic on the aroma. Taste is sweetish, with fruity and plastic overtones. Lovely body and palette but the rest is found wanting. Not sure why someone would make this?

Deep clear amber, sparkling, huge creamy off-white head is medium long, ok lacing. Dry malt and grass, earthy, mildly fruity under this. Light to medium body, dry and bitter, herbs, bit harsh, long finish with malt and grass. Very malty, not very IPA-like flavors.

DruncanVeasey (7424) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2015
Bottle on Brighton Beach with some appalling, freshly defrosted fish and chips, 02/01/15. Good tight persistent foam over clear orange amber. Aroma of water on stone, minerals, orange barley. Meagre orange barley and peach hop notes; licked slate, caramel, northern Englishness, spun candy. The height of mediocre.
