Pours the typical dark amber color with a small off-white head. Light aromas and flavors of caramel malt, bread and dark fruit. Mouthfeel was average. Quite a forgettable beer, nothing stands out about it.

not much of an aroma, flavour a little bit of red berries on a sea of lightly bitter wash. very light as expected. fairly bland but drinkable.

From a 330ml bottle on 28/2/2013. Pours a clear medium amber with a largish head. Not much to the aroma, just some mild malt tones. The flavour is okay, but relatively muted, with some sweet toffee, a bit of toast, and some stone fruit. The bitterness is light and the carbonation medium. Drinkable but far from exciting.

Quite sweet, syrupy, and sour. Lacks some bitterness. Less than ordinary. Great to make a gravy though!

Bottle 330 ml from l’Empire du Malt - Clermont-Ferrand (F). Dark reddish beer with average head sticking well to the glass, silent crackling. Malted nose, fruity acidity, butter-toffee, grenadine and hop. The taste is soft, unctuous of malt, toffy-cassonade, milk chocolate, plum and cream. Toasty notes, walnut and hop. It’s always sweet in final, creamy and sweetened with a slight hop.

There’s an aroma of dried bread bordering on salada biscuits with some dirty socks and glaced cherries. The hops are more obvious in the mouth, with some grapefruit followed by boiled lollies and a little honey. The body is light and it’s not too long, but it’s quite a refreshing drop.

Bottle by AUG 12. Lightly sweet and faintly fruity nose, body a dark, deep amber with a lacing, still beige head. Very light toasted taste, faintly sweet, no really bitterness but a mild degree of balance. Light-medium body anda touch of ash. Decent maltiness but a little bit of butterscotch and not super clean.
