The name says it all. Golden lager. About as plain and simple as that. This brewery doesn’t deserve the title of a craft brewery. Either NZ doesn’t appreciate the term or the craft beer culture here is embarrassing.

Great nuttiness and smooth texture. Strong body so couldn’t have too many. Awesome colour too.

Good one, like it so far, some malty, but nice even imported. Will drink it more often

Nice foamy head, stays pretty good. Golden clear. Aroma is a bit dull, mostly malty. Taste is a bit sour, very little hops, a bit malty and aftertaste is plain. Mostly, it’s a boring beer. Poured from bottle.

Bottle 0,33l. Poures a clear golden amber color with a thick off-white head that diminish quickly. Leaves a nice lacing. Aromas of yeast, hops and traces of malt. Taste of malts, honey and metal. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A little on the "wheat" side of taste for me at the beginning, but it really grew on me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly darker than a lager. Moderate to high carbonation; white head. Aroma is almost like hay..... weird.

Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, grain. Flavour is fruit, malt, hint of hop, grain. Thin body. Boring beer.

330ml Bottle BB 10 Oct 2012: poured @ home into a Westvletren chalice on 07 Dec 2012, some two months after its best before date. Looks OK: good deep golden body with a white covering that tries to hang around, but as in most beers of this style it fades to a wispy swirl and collar as you attack the beer. Grainy nose more than hop or straight malt: taste is leaning towards malts, biscuity and semi-sweet. Crisp body and nice hop finish: easy drinking lager and with enough flavour to interest me. certainly one of the highest scoring lagers I’ve had since joining this site.

Light gold with thin white head. Nose is sweet, malty, not much else. Sweet malty flavour, not much else going on - a bit thin, nothing fancy but definitely drinkable.
