Pours gold with a large, lasting head. Nose shows corn and spicy, floral hops. Also some faint sweet malt. Flavours are a bit better, no vegetal notes, instead being focussed on the light sweet malt and very faint spicy hops. Needs more carbonation. Very watery.

Going to have to wade thru this one. Served a bit cold, with a fine, off white, creamy head that settled to a light cover and loads of thick creamy lace. Color is a clear amber with some bubble trails. Aroma is simple and mild: euro lager, grain. Flavor’s on the sweet side, with some malt, faint carbonic tang, wet cardboard. Body’s ok, carbo is on the flat side. Finish is like flavor, too long, and I just want it to be over.

Tasted on tap, standard golden colour with a white head. Not a lot to offer in the way of aroma, or flavour come to that. Gold and cold and that’s about it.

Not too much aroma, pours golden with white head. Doesn’t leave much on the palate. Good summer drop in the heat.

Test vom 24.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,4,6,3,10,4 - 4,65

[330ml bottle, Appellation Wines, Edinburgh] Clear golden pour, thin white head that reduces pretty quickly. Aromas of malt and some grainy corn notes. On the palate, thin but drinkable malty lager, with a sweet malty aftertaste. Not amazing, not terrible. The flavours get a tad metallic towards the end, but it’s drinkable stuff [14052011]

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Slightly pale in colour and flavours. basically an easy drinking, slightly fruity ale. Sweet beer, OK

10 May 2011, bottle. med yellow, clear, occasional bubbles. nose is a sweet malt, vegetable and bubble gum mix. kind of sickly i think. med body and fairly fizzy. tastes of cherry apple juice and malt. a bit heavy and too bold for a lager. i’m not a fan. even for an ale, this is just sweet, syrupy mess.

Golden (as it says) with gentle bubbles and a thin lacy head. The nose has beautiful rich mango aromas. The taste i of more mango and guadeloupe melon with a background maltiness. The palate has decent texture and structure with a clean finish. Overall, this is a lovely beer, though I’d say it was more of a pale ale than a lager.
