Blairgus (2687) - California, USA - MAY 10, 2011
10 May 2011, bottle. med yellow, clear, occasional bubbles. nose is a sweet malt, vegetable and bubble gum mix. kind of sickly i think. med body and fairly fizzy. tastes of cherry apple juice and malt. a bit heavy and too bold for a lager. i’m not a fan. even for an ale, this is just sweet, syrupy mess.

Golden (as it says) with gentle bubbles and a thin lacy head. The nose has beautiful rich mango aromas. The taste i of more mango and guadeloupe melon with a background maltiness. The palate has decent texture and structure with a clean finish. Overall, this is a lovely beer, though I’d say it was more of a pale ale than a lager.

Ungstrup (29665) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 9, 2011
Draft. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of grain and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey and grain as well as lighter notes of metal, leading to a bitter finish.

Grima (2108) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 31, 2011
Into the glass pours an orange-golden beer with a coarse, short-lived head, and a lot of big CO2 bubbles. The beer smells grainy-sweet, slightly hoppy also. It starts grainy-sweet, with pleasant malt body. The hop is seen only slightly in the background. The aftertaste appears very sweet, malty and subtly musty, with a slight metallic undertone. The further coursegets more and more metallic and sweet, delicious grainy note from the first sips disappears almost completely.

Not a very good one. Sweet flavors of cereals and cashew nuts, no hops evident at all. Way too sweet and with too boring flavors to be enjoyable.

beer4eternity (207) - Tauranga, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 31, 2010
330ml bottle. Crystal clear golden hue, medium sized white rocky diminishing head moderate lacing. Aromas of honey, cereal, vegetable especially potato and peas cooking, sweet malt. Moderately sweet, low bitterness. Crisp carbonation, light to medium body - more than most pale lagers. Finish is a bit dry, astringent, slightly metallic, thin. OK for a pale lager, fairly forgettable.
