Great nuttiness and smooth texture. Strong body so couldn’t have too many. Awesome colour too.

A little on the "wheat" side of taste for me at the beginning, but it really grew on me.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden (as it says) with gentle bubbles and a thin lacy head. The nose has beautiful rich mango aromas. The taste i of more mango and guadeloupe melon with a background maltiness. The palate has decent texture and structure with a clean finish. Overall, this is a lovely beer, though I’d say it was more of a pale ale than a lager.

Better alternative to Export Gold, smells and tates so much nicer.
Easy to drink and everyone’s happy.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My sister brought this one back from New Zealand. Nice sweet aroma with faint hops. Good citrus character. Fairly normal pour, with quickly disappearing head and golden colour. The flavour is nice, not exceptional but a good citrus hop flavour followed by some good bitterness. This is a great dinner beer, or for watching rugby. I like it.

330ml Bottle BB 10 Oct 2012: poured @ home into a Westvletren chalice on 07 Dec 2012, some two months after its best before date.
Looks OK: good deep golden body with a white covering that tries to hang around, but as in most beers of this style it fades to a wispy swirl and collar as you attack the beer.
Grainy nose more than hop or straight malt: taste is leaning towards malts, biscuity and semi-sweet. Crisp body and nice hop finish: easy drinking lager and with enough flavour to interest me. certainly one of the highest scoring lagers I’ve had since joining this site.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle by SEP-12. Lightly sweet, very malty nose, pours a gleaming clear golden with tons of carbonation and a rocky white head. Taste is sweet and malty, lightly grainy with faint fruity and vanilla accents in the deep bg. Crisp but relatively smooth, clean light body, fresh and refreshing. I seem to like this a lot more than everyone else.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This seems to get crapped on a fair bit in the ratings, but I liked it. Maybe I’ve had too many bad lagers lately. Standard pour of a clear gold colour with a decent head. Definitely something sweet in the aroma in addition to the malt presence, and the palate is gently malty with a crisp finish. Beats all the macro pale lagers I’ve tried lately.
