2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Enjoyed over blue cod fish & chips at the Drunken Sailor in Bluff. Pours a bronzy golden with a moderate soapy white head. Very grassy skunky hop aroma with sweet malt. Sweet grainy flavour, lovely hoppy character, very fresh.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a dark golden with thin white head. Quite malty on the nose, with subtle vanilla aromas coming through and a touch of yeast. Malt and citrus flavours, particularly orange, are most prominent, with a beautiful hoppy kick on the finish and a sweet malt aftertaste. Clean and smooth, with a lot of flavour. This is a very drinkable beer and one of my favourites from the Monteiths range.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
I have to say that this is a bit of a nothing beer, brewed to tackle market share of Steinlager Pure than to be a beer that people would want to drink.
It has a light hoppy character and little else. Disappointing.
