duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Apr 15, 2008 Bottle. To be honest this wasn’t so bad, very boring yes, but quite drinkable. Kind a clean, yet, with a slightly grassy hop finish. Mouth feel is slightly metallic and on the sweet side. Quite refreshing, but boring.
faroeviking (4124), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark Aug 14, 2008 Botella. Clear golden with good medium steady creamish white head, good lacing. Mild malty aroma with grains. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is grainy with a pleasant mild bitterness. Slightly sweet grainy dry finish. jimthechap (122), Christchurch, New Zealand Jul 1, 2008 I have to say that this is a bit of a nothing beer, brewed to tackle market share of Steinlager Pure than to be a beer that people would want to drink.
It has a light hoppy character and little else. Disappointing. azlondon (480), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Orangy golden brown. Little bit of shortlived fizzy head.
Aroma: Fruit and malt, quite nice.
Taste: Some malt and hops, quite sweet. Fresh.
Info: 330ml bottle, 23/9-2007 KnutAlbert (2163), Oslo, Norway Jun 20, 2008 Bottled in Germany.
Utterly uninteresting, amazing that this is imported inot a country with good beers!
Thin, watery, budweissery. HugoPotomus (8), New Zealand does not count Jun 19, 2008 330 ml bottle at a party after all else was finished. Highly carbonated and pale gold, head lost quickly. Nose:Weak sweet malt and no hops.
Sickly sweet malt essence flavour with no hop to balance, Cheap DB finish reminds me of caramel and chinese beers. A victory of marketing over brewing, this dilutes a weakening brand further.
