330ml bottle Malty aroma Poured amber brown with not much head. Mild bitterness with not a lot of body but a clean finish. An ok session beer I suppose but nothing crafty at all.

Probably my favourite Monteiths beer. Which is like describing my favourite type of dental surgery. This beer was designed by a committee of teetotallers

Not too shabby at all. Clean and crisp, aromas of toast, hay and slight hints of caramel. Taste includes the same plus a drop of apple. Good meat and potatoes ale.

Deep orange brown pour. Nutty aroma, taste follows with lightly floral notes. Thin. Not good.

ok, this is an everyman beer, it’s nothing special or different or outstanding, it is peaky and edgy around points that are sharp, better, sweet and tangy. There is no craft in this, but the do this week in week out, for a day beer it’s not shabby, but it’s not a beer you should boast about

From a bottle. Not too bad but not their best stuff, a little bland, mild hops, sessionable.

Drinkable enough but nothing special. Dark brown with thin head. Aroma of light oats and hazelnuts. Taste is thinLr without much bitterness. Finish quite short. Really a session beer with only 3% alcohol ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
