330ml bottle. Solid malty characteristic tending to the dark crystal malt range, with notes of caramel. Good body, complex ale fruitiness and a significant hoppy aftertaste.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild-malty, not too roasty, fine dry notes. Light hints of caramel. Finish still mild but not washy, well balanced malty. Nice!

EithCubes (5206) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 9, 2012
Bottle by AUG-12. Nose of sweet and lightly fruity caramel with lighter dark/burned notes. Body a nice, gradient amber with an ephemeral tan head. Taste is lightly sweet, caramel/toffee with light earth and light bitterness, lightish body a little fizzy. Monteiths seems to produce its share of easy-drinkers.

On tap, pours dark golden with good solid tan head. Baking soda aroma. Tastes is citrus and nutty with slight floral hop and sweet malt finish.

Bottle. Presents copper brown with a small white head. Caramel malts on the nose with hints of dark fruits. Tastes medium sweet with a soft hop presence. Grainy malty texture and lightish body. A decent amber ale.

faint nose of hops. Sweet carmel taste, though short lived. Lots of watery gaps. not real interesting or exciting. One was enough

A very nondescript beer with light carbonation. Not much happening on the flavour front.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 Classic ale, malty notes, slightly sweet, light bitter finish. Not really tasty, but pleasant to drink.

drpimento (2421) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 18, 2012
Served a bit cold and a small, cream colored head that quickly faded to zip and no lace. Color is a clear amber copper with a couple of sneaky bubble trails. Aroma is malt, toast, hint of toffee. Flavor is like nose, more robust and also the carbonic tang to balance, oh and it just occured to me baking soda. Body and carbonation are ok. Finish is like flavor and of average length.

(bottle) clear medium amber colour with small tan head; aromas of dough, bread, hint of fruit; balanced flavour, no finish to speak of
