2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Viking Gabriella taxfree as "Bohemian Pilsner"
Clear amber-golden color, small white head. A bit papery, grassy hoppy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Spicey bitter hoppyness, ok palate but some cardboard in the finish. Light use of crystal malts. Seems to be 8 months old bottle (BB 02/2015).

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
0.33 l bottle from Viking Line ferry boat form Stockholm to Helsinki. My bottle says Bohemian Pilsner on the red label but I guess this must the same beer. Does not look very promising but taste is malts and hops i.e. exactly what a Bohemian pilsner should be. Also, this does not die in your mouth as quickly as the other brewerages from the same brewery.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle from Viking XPRS, labelled Bohemian Pilsener. Clear darkish yellow colour, small fully vanishing fizzy white head, not much lacing. Moderately malty aroma of bisquit and hay with moderate herbal, grassy and slightly earthy hops. Taste is initially balanced bittersweet and slightly acidic turning into a moderately bitter finish with an astrigent feel. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Ok pilsener, no idea about where the enormous hop character is. Certainly doesn’t have the bit of a bitterness bite in the end that many of the better pilseners have. Somewhat above avereage anyway.

now called bohemian pilsner with a red label, pale with a brief head, this is crisp & sharp with a vague peppery bitter aftertaste, easy to drink

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From a bottle. Pours a clear gold, small white head, fresh aroma and balanced flavours leaning towards malt. Not their best beer.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden beer, small but persistent head, floral aromas as well as some not usual cheese ones. The body is light and the respective pilsner hop flavor is undeniable; however, the malt flavor is not strong enough and maybe is the only particularity. Overall is quite a good beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Viking Grace. Pale yellow, clear. Slight metallic, corn malty, continentally hopped nose. Feels nose-wise like your average european bulk pils/lager. Nice body though. Med light, Sparkling carbonation. Herby, slight old leafy hops mixed in that stream of somewhat tasteless malts. Ok for a bulk, quite enjoyable really.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden with a diminishing white head. Aroma is grain, sweet, a bit of grass, too. Medium, carbonated body. Flavor is more grain and sweet and less grass than I was expecting due to the aroma. Soft, round finish without the desired crisp bite of a Bohemian Pilsener (as my sixer of this was named). Still, decent lager for a hot afternoon.
